What Pipes Can We Reline?

Can We Reline Bends and Junctions?

Our pipe relining technology works by inserting epoxy resin pipes that have been pre-heated.  These pipes are inserted through an access point along the entirety of a drainage system. The insertion is done by using pressurized air.  The malleability of the pipes and the pressurized air makes it possible for the relined pipes to adhere to any existing bend or change in diameter.  In most cases, a complete pipe relining can be completed in a single day. This includes curing time for the relined pipes.

We also incorporate another technology which allows us to replace any joints by recreating the original.  This process is done by insertion of a special tube and cutter mechanism. This system recreates the original joint and ensures smooth flow of water.

What Type of Pipework Can We Reline?

The material used our pipe relining is a specially designed epoxy resin.  These pipes ensure better flow and prevention against tree root intrusion since they are seamless and corrosion resistant.  Our epoxy resin pipes are up to 4 times stronger than conventional PVC pipes and come with a 35 year guarantee. This means that our pipe relining is a suitable replacement for any commercial, residential or industrial drainage system.

Pipe relining technology can address issues with any of the following:

  • Host Pipes
  • Broken Lines
  • Misaligned Pipes
  • Asbestos Cement Pipe Repair
  • Reducers
  • P- And S-bend Traps
  • Grease Drains
  • Chemical Drains And Pipes, As Used In Laboratories
  • Single-point Entries
  • Cast Iron Pipe Drain Repair
  • PVC Pipe Repair
  • Down Pipes
  • Horizontal, Vertical, Or Sloped Pipes
  • Customised Pipes
  • Storm Water Drain Pipe Repair
  • Underwater Pipes
  • Pressure Pipes
  • Boundary Traps
  • Sprinkler Distribution Pipework
  • Pipe Extension
  • Old Pipes (such As Those In Preserved Buildings)
  • Pinholes

What Size Drains are Suitable for Pipe Relining?

Our pipe relining is suitable for a variety of plumbing needs.  The super strong epoxy resin pipes are an ideal replacement ranging from copper plumbing in your home to a large scale industrial drainage system.  The epoxy resin used for our pipe relining is up to 4 times stronger than conventional PVC pipes and come with a 35 year guarantee. The range in diameter for our pipe relining is from 40mm to 250mm with a maximum length of 50 meters.  It should be known that pipe relining does reduce all pipe diameters by 6mm since pipes are inserted inside existing pipes. Not to worry as in most cases flow rates may increase to the smoothness and corrosion resistance of the pipes.
